Server Rules

Server Rules

By connecting to CrashCraft or using any of our services, you agree to follow all rules and policies listed below.

CrashCraft strives to provide an enjoyable, fair, and safe environment for everyone in our community. These rules and corresponding punishments are enforced by our staff team. Players are responsible for understanding and following them.

We cannot list every possible way a player could disrupt the community or gain an unfair advantage. Use common sense and understand that staff may act against behaviour that is clearly harmful, abusive, deceptive, or unfair, even when the exact situation is not specifically written below.

Messages, actions, transactions, voice conversations, deleted content, private interactions, and behaviour outside public chat may still be reviewed when sufficient evidence is available.

Staff may adjust punishments based on intent, severity, previous offences, impact on the community, cooperation, evidence, and attempts to evade moderation.

TIER 1 Mild Punishments

These offences are normally handled through warnings and temporary chat restrictions. Repeated or intentional violations may result in a higher punishment tier.

Spamming

Repeatedly sending identical or substantially similar messages in a short period is prohibited. This includes repeating advertisements, trade offers, questions, commands, or general chat messages.

Character Spam

Messages containing excessive repeated letters, numbers, symbols, emojis, or random characters are considered spam.

Message Flooding

Sending many different messages in rapid succession to dominate or flood chat is not allowed.

Command Spam

Do not repeatedly execute commands in a way that floods chat, sends excessive notifications, or disrupts another player.

Commands used to harass, teleport-trap, repeatedly message, or intentionally disrupt another player may result in a stronger punishment.

Excessive Capital Letters

Avoid sending messages primarily written in capital letters when doing so creates unnecessary disruption or resembles shouting.

Foreign Languages

Public server chat should remain primarily in English so that conversations can be consistently moderated. Short phrases or greetings are acceptable when they are not disruptive.

Political or Religious Discussion

Discussions involving politics, religion, or other highly divisive subjects are not permitted when they create arguments, hostility, or disruption.

Indirect Swearing

Attempts to insult others through abbreviations, censored words, symbols, or filter bypasses may still be punished.

Impersonation

Do not imitate another player, staff member, content creator, or official CrashCraft account using a misleading nickname, skin, profile, title, or claim.

Backseat Moderation

Players may politely remind others of the rules, but should not threaten punishments, pretend to be staff, or attempt to control moderation decisions.

Sexual, graphic, hateful, disturbing, excessively violent, or otherwise unsuitable content is prohibited.

Inappropriate Username, Skin, or Profile

Usernames, nicknames, skins, capes, items, signs, builds, profile content, or other visible material must remain appropriate for the community.

Server or Staff Disrespect

Constructive criticism is allowed. Repeated hostile, misleading, degrading, or intentionally damaging statements toward CrashCraft or its staff are not.

Unnecessary Pinging or Messaging

Repeatedly contacting staff or players without a legitimate reason, especially after being asked to stop, may be treated as harassment.

Non-Direct Advertising

Mentioning or directing players toward unrelated Minecraft servers, Discord communities, businesses, websites, social accounts, or services is prohibited without staff approval.

Malicious Advertising

Advertising through private messages, books, signs, renamed items, builds, usernames, links, or deceptive wording may result in a permanent ban.

Advertising intended to deliberately pull players away from CrashCraft may result in an immediate and permanent punishment.

False Reports or Evidence

Knowingly submitting false reports, altered evidence, misleading screenshots, or fabricated accusations is prohibited.

Encouraging Rule Breaking

Encouraging, pressuring, paying, or assisting another player to violate the rules may result in the same punishment as the offence itself.
